UPDATE......BAN HAS BEEN LIFTED

Effective Immediately, The New Athens Fire Protection District is implementing a BURN BAN.

No Outside burning of any kind including Fireworks! This covers The Village of New Athens as

well as the New Athens Fire Protection District which covers parts of New Athens Township,

Lenzburg Township, Prairie Du Long Township, and Fayetteville Township.

NOTIFICATION WILL BE MADE WHEN THE BURN BAN HAS BEEN LIFTED.
