The New Athens Police Deparetment will follow Ordinance # Sec. 20-22.  POSSESSION, USE AND DISCHARGE OF DANGEROUS FIREWORKS UNLAWFUL.  "It is unlawful for any person to sell, possess, use, transfer, discharge or explode any dangerous firework within the village, provided that this prohibition shall not apply to duly authorized public displays."
