Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #2Long time New Athens Treasurer, almost twenty- three years, Sandy Stolte has retired. Sandy was a dedicated, capable, popular mayoral appointment and will be missed by all. Mayor Joe Behnken at the Monday, February 6th regular board meeting appointed as Treasurer , with the advice and consent of the village board, Andy Fauth a credentialed representative in the investment field. Furthermore, at that meeting the mayor appointed, and the board approved, Amy Ohlendorf Weisbrodt as Village Clerk. Amy has considerable experience in accounting and financial management.
Mayor Behnken Stated “I am excited about working with the two newest members to our leadership team. They are going to make excellent additions to the team.”
