Officer Storie awarded Life-Saving Award
Launch the media gallery 1 playerNew Athens Police Chief Tim Buehler presented Officer Aaron Storie with a Life Saving Award and pin for actions he demonstrated on a service call on April 29, 2023, at the June 5th regular board meeting. Officer Storie responded to a neighboring city as requested for medical assistance. Upon his arrival, Officer Storie located a female who was not conscious or breathing. Officer Storie administered life savings procedures to the female that was overdosing including CPR. During CPR, the female regained consciousness and began breathing on her own. Officer Storie saved her life.
