On May 25.2023, Detective Jake Renner began investigating a retail theft case which occurred at Dollar General in three separate incidents. During Detective Renner's lengthy investigation, he conducted an interview with the suspect obtaining a full confession. Detective Renner applied for felony Retail Theft­ t charges. On June 12, 2023, Detective Renner was awarded a felony Retail Theft warrant on three counts. The bond was set at $20,000.00.

Detective Renner's thorough investigation assisted a local business in stopping retail thefts committed by this citizen as she had been arrested.
